Based on the letters you receive, you should be able to narrow your field to 10 or so that you're really interested in. After corresponding for some time you'll will want to meet with the ladies in person. By this time you should have a short list of 4 or 5 serious possibilities. Once you've met the ladies for the first time, you will hopefully be able to narrow you selection down to the one special lady for you.

Using your password: While viewing a lady's personal ad page, just click on the "Member's Address Access " button below her picture. When prompted, enter your Username and Password.

As you will gather when you read about each lady. They're not looking for rich and handsome men. Most are seeking just ordinary men, who are honest, loving and sincere. If you have a steady job and are wanting to begin a long term relationship or to start a family. Then you are just the kind of guy many of these ladies are waiting for.

Many of the ladies prefer older men. Older men are seen as being more mature, reliable and stable. If you find you are just a few years over their desired age range of some of the ladies that interest you, write to them anyway. Nothing is etched in stone and you have nothing to loose. For many your honesty and sincerity will be of much more importance than your age. And of course if you possess some of the other qualities they desire, their response should be very positive.

Some ladies have indicated their preference to hear from men from various countries or regions. Again this is just a preference and if you're seriously interested in contacting any particular lady then you should still try. If you're the guy she has been waiting for then love knows no borders.

All the ladies on this website have written to Asia Brides directly, requesting to be listed. The information we present on each lady is taken directly from the letter or application form each lady sent to us.

Begin your letter with Dear Miss .....(followed by the ladies name)

Print your own address, including your country's name, neatly in the letter and on the envelope.

Print her address neatly in pen on the envelope and use block capitals for the country name. Use Airmail stickers or write Airmail in red pen on the envelope.

Always send your letters Airmail. Even then it can take between 1 and 2 weeks to arrive and just as long for the reply to come back. In total allow 3 to 4 weeks. We don't recommend using registered mail or courier services. These services require a signature of the receiver and if the mail needs to held, forwarded or nobody is home during business hours then it can't be delivered and will be returned. Airmail is much cheaper, convenient and by far more reliable.

We recommended that you write to at least 30 ladies if you are really serious about finding that one special lady. Why so many letters? Out of the 30 you write to, you should get at least 20 or more replies (If you include a photo and your email address, you will get a better response). You may then decide from those replies that only 10 or 15 of them really interest you. After some time of corresponding with these ladies, you will  have probably narrowed your list down to 6 or 8. By this time you may decide to visit them in their home country. After meeting with each of them, you can then decide which one is right for you.

If you're not to keen on having to write a similar letter 30 times over or if you're not too confident that you're hand writing is legible. Use a word processor. You can still personalize each letter. Although hand written letters are more romantic, a printed letter is much more likely to be legible and will save you a lot of time. If there are several ladies you're especially interested in, you may wish to write, neat hand written letters, to these ladies instead.

Include a nice clear photo of yourself. Asian ladies tend to prefer men neatly dressed and clean shaven. Avoid showing beards or tattoos. Make sure your photo is of you and not your possessions, otherwise you may be viewed as being boastful. They're more interested in you the person than what you may own.

When writing to ladies in China it can take several weeks for the letter to be delivered and maybe 2 more weeks for her reply to come back. Luckily these days more and more ladies are able to use the Internet so included your email address in your letter along with your photo. This may help speed up her reply.

We recommend using regular airmail and not registered or courier post. Airmail letters don't require a signature for delivery making it much easier for the letter to be redirected or collected as necessary.

You may also save yourself the trouble of writing so many initial letters and have the ladies write to you fist by placing your own personal on-line and opting to have it included for free in our newsletter sent to the ladies that join by mail Join.

International Reply Coupons (IRCs): You can also increase your response rate by purchasing International Reply Coupons. These are available at most Post Offices for around $1. Its a nice gesture and your lady can then exchange these for stamps at a major Post Office in her country. It currently costs around 20 pesos to send an Airmail letter from the Philippines to the US.

If at any time you decide you no longer wish to correspond with a particular lady. Please write to her and tell her so, rather than leave her wondering why she hasn't heard from you anymore.

Please don't just write to the pretty ladies. Although some of the ladies who have contacted us are quite stunning. Many are more average in appearance. Take the time to read about many ladies. You'll probably find a few who are exactly what you're looking for and would make the perfect partner.

Contact Ladies by email: Although it would be much more convenient if all the ladies had an email address. At present not everyone in countries such as the Philippines has access to services such as email. However more and more ladies do have an email address.

Accuracy of the statistics: Our database is automatically updated every time a member accesses a ladies address. This allows all members to quickly see which ladies may have received a lot of letters already or with confidence know which ladies have received few or no letters. Try checking the "Be her first" box on our search engine to see ladies that have not received any letters yet.

How many is too many? We believe that even if a ladies address has been requested up to 30 times, it is still worth while writing to her. This is because the 30 men who wrote to her, have probably written to 29 other ladies and will probably maintain correspondence with maybe 7 or 8 of them. They may meet as many as 5 of them but can only marry one. So most ladies are still available and waiting for the right guy to come along and this could easily be you.

Accuracy: If a lady becomes engaged or is no longer available, we will remove her address from our site. If it appears that a lady isn't responding to any letters, we will also remove her address from our site.
